The Afterglow Incident: An event where the number 1 hero sent out a final message to all of Japan before being completely isolated within the Afterglow Tower that stands in the center of Japan. This event has sparked both a growing sense of heroism within the youths who wish to become heroes, while also standing as a fearful shot towards the very darkness that those who are scared heroism is waning expected. It's been some time since the event occurred with many uncertain if the hero is still alive, the heavy walls of the building remain completely sealed with none being able to break in no matter the attempts. The Hero Society is beginning to develop a plan to break into the facility but none has come to fruition yet.

It's been over 2 months without word from the number 1 hero about their plans to deal with the looming threat of villainy attempting another large scale uprising. Attempts at trying to contact her have been met with silence, and many are prepared to scale her tower and bring her out. On top of that the number 4 hero Semicolon has been crippled in a rescue incident, to the point of having to retire early thus putting the hero of divisive opinion Evangeline in her place. These two major incidents have led to public distrust in hero society as a whole and many urging children from going out in the afternoon due to the majority opinion being that if you get caught by a villain that a hero is definitely not showing up to save you.
Due to growing distrust in heroism, the profession as a whole has seen a major decline with many students preferring to go into law enforcement positions, or hoping to grow up and become a vigilante in an attempt to fix villainy in their own way. This has led many hero schools to having to close up classes other than hero studies so that they could make use of what money they have left. Many who are taking hero classes are viewed with general uncertainty, unsure if there is any point in trying to become a hero with their draining efficiency.
The threat of a new villain organization rising up and taking advantage of the weakened state of the hero society as a whole is growing, and many think that Tokyo will become a battleground at this rate with the civilians being caught in the crossfire. A building movement of "Weaponize Your Quirk" is picking up traction, with many civilians feeling they have no choice but to actively train their quirk for combat in case they have to defend their home and family. This again has built up a reputation for people becoming vigilantes, something the hero society is desperate to prevent due to the potential backfiring of such an outcome.
It's early summer and an especially showery day. Many have retired early to their homes, hoping to enjoy the peace and quiet. Their TV's glowing softly in the stormy evening, when their channels are suddenly changed to an emergency PSA. Afterglow the number 1 hero would appear somewhat sickly. Her skin growing pale and her hair tenuous. There is a uncertain expression crossing her face for a moment... but it'd slowly curl into a thin smile. Many are glowed to their screens, the large screens in Tokyo suddenly filled with her weak image, darkness littering the room behind her. She'd speak in that all too familiar heroic style, "I can't... save you all." Her eyes would flicker in and out, as if viewing a million images at once. All of them threatening to shake her expression. A cold finger would reach out from beneath her sweater, an outfit far from that of her brave caped hero persona. It'd place down against the camera, the darkness would seem to shift around her for a moment but it'd be nothing more than a trick of the light as a feint glow seemed to radiate off of her, "But... heroism isn't dead. Heroism can't die... it can't..." Her head would tilt as the brilliant glow around her would intensify, "Heroism exists within everyone... everyone who prays for warmth in the summer shower... everyone who looks up to the wishing stars and whisper a dream... and it exists within all of you..." She'd smile brightly, "You're heroism!" Her finger would seem to reach out to all the millions of people who were watching her. It'd point at the next generation, the current generation, those of the past, and those who've yet to come. It was a message... a spark...
Suddenly the screen would cut out and the roof of the Afterglow Tower would explode into a brilliant light, glass would shatter around it as it suddenly grew into heavy lock down. Large metal walls slamming down along the entire length of the building and coating it into a total isolation. It was almost like a metallic cube was left in place of what once stood as the peak of heroism's second coming... yet... among the panicked, the worried, and the grins of villains there was a message. One last spark to help reignite heroism, as long as there is someone to pick up the spark... there will always be heroism.
It's been over three months since the Afterglow Incident as it's come to be known, and there has been little luck into breaking into the heavily secured facility. Many have already ruled her out as dead... while many of the Hero Society hold onto hope that she's still alive. Those who've been losing hope in heroism have only grown more weary about the potential that it will ever be able to protect anyone again. But among the fear and the uncertainty there are those who are willing to bring that heroism back... those who truly believed the words she said. Will heroism be reignited or will it be left in the cold withering storm? That is for you to decide.

On Heroism-Reignited is a My Hero Academia world in which heroism never truly turns away the shadow of darkness that villainy holds over the land. There has never been a shining light such as All Might to scare villainy out of evil with sheer presence alone, instead every month is a grueling battle just hoping to take some of villainy's territory away from them. The most influential hero of all time in Japan, Sunburst, was grossly killed by a massive villain group over 100 years ago, ever since there has been a growing discontent in society, a lack of faith in heroism and many are growing restless from the looming threat of one more powerful push from villainy truly being the end of such bravery.
Technology has advanced to the point where solid holograms are possible, while not being fully implemented into weaponry quite yet the technology has proved stable enough to use in artificial environments and the higher end structures are taking advantage of the technology for rooms. Games have reached the point of triple A virtual reality, but it hasn't replaced regular video games as the staple form of entertainment. Sports have evolved to allow quirks actively with heavy restrictions on the ring and safety gear instead of heavily regulated quirks, these sports have to be held in private stadiums as to prevent potential harm that can come to onlookers. Many of our modern games are very much considered retro so coming up with new franchises or remakes to old ones is probably better than referencing things that are too modern, but spin-offs or "bootleg" versions are certainly allowed!
Many cultural sites have formed over prior hero battles, while many have slowly grown out of public favor they surely do exist. Going outside at night is widely considered a bad idea in this world with many older figures looking upon it with distaste, but many who enjoy the nightlife still disregard these fears. Hero Schools have stopped dealing in classes not dealing with heroic studies, leaving that to more specialized schools so they can focus more of their budget on teaching new heroes who can hopefully bring back light to the land.
The last major villain group, Liberty, was quelled nearly 100 years ago shortly after the death of Sunburst, the Golden Hero who died in combat with the villain group. Their goal was to bring about an end to heavy quirk regulation so that anyone would be free to develop their quirk as they would any other part of their body, a cause that has gained some traction as of late with stricter quirk limits coming into place along with the development of the quirk database, a system that allows the government as well as heroes to know both your quirks strengths and weaknesses. Many have heard whispers of Liberty making a comeback but those are merely rumors in the back-alleys of Tokyo.
Within the last twenty years both heroes and villains have been in a deadlock with the heroes growing more aggressive about dealing with villainy, with many preferring to quell threats before they can even pop up a trend that many higher up heroes disapprove of. Vigilantes have been a growing prospect with many taking up arms to attempt to become one, but no named vigilantes have become widely known yet with many local advertisements active pumping out PSA's attempting to stop potential ones from appearing though with growing threat of a villain rising up, heroes have been working in an unannounced truce with those with good judgement and justice behind their movement.

Isamu Academy High School "Anyone Can Become a Hero!"
Isamu represents the ideology that anyone can be a hero with the right equipment! It's this level of preparedness that sets Isamu apart from the other schools, and can be factored into what they truly believe bravery means. Their school is located in the outskirts of Tokyo underneath a renown support gear manufacturer, this allows them to quickly build support gear for their students and includes them into the building process along the way! While not a true support class, due to many of the schools having to specialize in Hero Studies for the time being, there is still a clear emphasis that a hero is just as good as well as they can make use of their gear.
Isamu notably has some of the best designed hero outfits in the industry and are renown for their students designs above all else. Some outfits are built for function with minor tweaks to improve the quirks of their students, while some are purely for fashion to inspire hope into the people who see them. Regardless of what kind of outfit it is, they can surely design anything for your quirk! This level of dedication to craft has turned them into one of the major dealers in hero outfits to the other schools, and in turn has earned them a close kinship to many of the major schools, which often nails them the role of partners in many other schools training routines!
Being under a support gear factory tends to come with its fair share of drawbacks... one of which being the sheer efficiency of how the school is designed. There is very little room for recreation in the factory, with rooms being designed for quirk movement. They've even foregone the usual cafeteria in favor of feeding the students in their room via chutes, not to mention the meal plans are more similar to MRE's than they are to high-school food. Students who sign up to Isamu hopefully know what they're getting into... but there is no doubt that Isamu's dedication to efficiency pays off into their gear as well as their students, producing students who never feel lost as long as they are in their hero outfits!
Isamu is notably home to many strong quirk users due to their enhanced hero outfits truly bringing the shine out of their wearers! One of the key notes of Isamu's training is that anyone can be a hero with enough ingenuity... a sentiment they had hoped to extend to quirkless kids who had hopes of becoming heroes, but with the current state of the world there is little room in schools to be training those with low potential. They still hope that one day... that truly anyone can be a hero!

"Those Who Excel, thus Reach the Stars!"
Located in Aoyama Japan, Seiai is well-known to be one of the few hero schools that money can get you in without regard to how powerful your quirk is. The All-Girls school is built upon Western principles and takes a lot of inspiration from the architecture and culture of the west. It is one of the few hero schools to have no sort of entrance exam and solely has a entrance fee that scares off most students from applying. They receive exuberant amounts of funding from private institutions as well as money from some of the wealthiest families in all of Japan. This money goes towards some of the most high-tech facilities in all of Japan with the best recreational and training areas out of all of the schools, even U.A. can't compete with the level of technology that Seiai has to offer.
Despite there being no entrance exam that doesn't mean that Seiai isn't ruthless, they hold a strict moral code of staying at the top of their caliber with the class president being decided by a combat festival at the start of the year. Students who fail to meet the expectations of the headmaster are often kicked out even if their grades are good, as above all else Seiai strives to appear as the top of class and elegance among heroes. The class president holds many roles and is often in charge of organizing training events as well as building synergy among the class. Students at Seiai also often have incredibly powerful quirks, stemming from the pedigree of the families that send their students to the prep school.
Seiai is well-known for their dorm rooms that challenge even some of the most comfortable hotels in all of Japan, with live-in maids of both robotic and human forms as well as state of the art entertainment areas that allow students to partake in their hobbies no matter how the weather is outside. The more controversial of these recreational rooms stands as the Hall of Hearts a room that can manipulate itself into ideal dating areas, or at least that's what students often use it for. Meaning many students who ask to go to Seiai often go there to find their ideal partners, even if they don't particularly desire to become heroes.
Seiai is above all else, the epitome of elegance and technology in all of Japan. Many of the students being children of celebrities and artists, or people who hold a strong cultural presence in Japan. It may not be the most orthodox school but no one can deny the power of the students they pump out, even if many suspect quirk breeding to be a factor.

"Respect the Past, for it is Unflinching."
Located in Iga Japan, Seijin at first glance represents a tradition far from heroism, one of espionage and assassination. This hero school takes several pages out of the culture of their home city and incorporates it into their lessons, with many of their training regiments being ripped straight out of old and obscure ninja history. There is no doubt that they've come under fire for their far from average hero training, with some citing that the school is breeding assassins not heroes. Despite what people believe Seijin holds high moral beliefs when it comes to the use of stealth and blades, and one of the most important lessons taught in Seijin is how to make use of a non-lethal blade. No matter what you believe they stand firm that they merely use the skills of their ancestors to breed a new generation of heroes that make use of the history of old to complement and exemplify their quirks.
Seijin is located in a deep artificial forest in Iga Japan, well known to be one of the main centers for ninjutsu at a time. The location however is highly secretive and it isn't given out to even most high-ranking heroes, only the Seijin alma mater as well as prospective students have the classified information as to where their school is. The design of the school is very much based in traditionalist architecture with stone pathways and arched bridges. All of the buildings are made from a highly flexible long lasting wood to survive the elements of the forest. The central building is much smaller than other schools due to them having a lower than average application process, with many students preferring to go to Ketsubutsu or Isamu for a more quirk-oriented training experience. The dorms are spread throughout the outer courtyards of the forest with each class and age group having a dorm to themselves. The dorms are part of a large building with sliding doors that separate the bedrooms of all the students. Notably Seijin doesn't allow students any form of technology in their bedrooms due to the secretive nature of their school location, nor do they use much technology in their training regimens preferring a more traditional approach, another reason why must students prefer to study at Ketsubutsu or Isamu.
Their training areas use technology to develop unique challenges that mimic scenarios that the students may face in the modern world, while sticking to the traditional design of the school. A red river that never stops flowing, an electrical blue wall that tries to stop you from climbing it, and a clearing of swaying grass. These locations are where a majority of Seijin's lessons take place and their design helps students get a baring on dangerous situations while sticking to the theme the school so much cares about. There is also a strong solidarity taught between the students and it is expected for them to work more as a unit than as a solitary hero group. This is only further pushed by the rather xenophobic nature of their school ground allowing very few outsiders on the property, with students only being able to leave its grounds once a week.
Unlike most hero schools, Seijin tends to take a more traditional approach in training their students. With focus on Sincerity and blades, they are...honestly more Ninjas than the average Hero school. Yet it is this odd nature that sets the school apart from all the others, giving it a unique lesson plan that teaches students solidarity and beating insurmountable odds as a unit. Using stealth and weaponry to make up for one's weaknesses. Seijin is for those students who just need a little bit of an upper-hand advantage.

Ketsubutsu Academy High School "With Equal Step, the Flame Carries On!"
Located in the outskirts of Tokyo Japan, Ketsubutsu was built upon the remnants of a former farmland. They pride themselves in their equal opportunity for all students style of education with an incredibly simple and easy entrance exam, meaning they get students from all walks of life. The land was originally barren and empty when the school was first founded but overtime it has become fertile and ripe, even to a supernatural degree. Plants that are welcomed into the soil of Ketsubutsu seem to thrive and prosper even beyond what they would in their natural habitats. The school credits the work of their dedicated student ethic and their dedication towards protection of life in all forms, but onlookers often credit the founder's quirk seemingly living on through the plants of the school grounds.
Where the farmer's shack once sat now stands the Ketsubutsu Academy High School central building, built entirely from wood it has a very natural and rustic design yet houses several classrooms and one of the largest cafeterias in all of Japan. It has been ever expanding growing as the amount of students who attend increases, having to keep up to the ever-growing demands of their equal opportunity lifestyle. The dorms stand on opposite sides of the school dividing between classes all of them provided with their own garden which they can grow any plants they desire. At the end of the school year these gardens are judged by the teachers and the classes are given grades based on how well they maintained their slice of nature. The dorms themselves are small wooden shacks with two rooms, a living quarter and a bedroom which can be further divided with the moving interior walls. Students are expected to share rooms with more than one student due to the large class sizes.
The Ketsubutsu practical exam is well-known to be nothing more than a simple physical with a quirk exhibition to prove that you at least have a clear knowledge of how to use your quirk. Due to this it is often known as a fallback school for students who can't get into the more prestigious schools, with many of its students being people who failed the U.A. entrance exams, forming a grudge of sorts. This grudge is often taken out during competitions between the schools, and manifests itself into Ketsubutsu rallying up against all of U.A. with some of the other lower end schools and attempting to squash any chance at them succeeding.
Overall, Ketsubutsu is very much the public school of heroics education. This can be either a good thing or bad thing based on who you ask, but no matter what you think of their choices there is no doubt that they churn out the most Heroes out of all of the schools and that isn't always a bad thing! Who knows there could always be some diamonds in the rough!

"Pride of Heroes, Pride of Shiketsu!"
Located in Okayama City Japan, Shiketsu holds a high respect for the traditions of their past. Having been one of the first hero schools in all of Japan it shouldn't come as a surprise that they hold a high pride in their history, and many of their rules and traditions are choices made with that tradition in mind. They are the number one ranked school for Heroic Education in West Japan, and number two overall. Unlike U.A. who's entrance exam consists of a practical combat simulation taking advantage of their state-of-the-art robotics, Shiketsu's exams often pit the applicants against actual heroes. These actual heroes play the role of villains and many of Okayama's very own citizens pitch in to serve as civilians in need of rescue! The test takes place on the sprawling hills of Okayama City, and are contained within the malleable and moving walls of Shiketsu High. The school grounds are quite wide, spanning the entirety of the hillside overlooking Okayama City, with a large traditional park in the middle of the school where students are free to socialize. One of the most famous things about the school is its ever changing walls that seem to shift and rise from the grounds at any approaching intruders, while also providing outsiders with a perspective to the going ons of the school. It is often a challenge among new journalists to see who can get into hero schools, and Shiketsu even among U.A. has proved more difficult to penetrate. It is known as the one hero school that is prestigious enough to be comparable to UA. Unlike UA however, this is a heavier pressure and obligation to keep their dignity at all times. Shiketsu Students are required to wear their uniform’s hats while working because they represent their school and must always hold up Shiketsu’s standards. They are required to wear their uniforms during school hours as well. On another note, due to their prestigious nature, dating is not allowed at Shiketsu. These traditional rules are unbudging and enforced intensely. Yet with these rules come a number of benefits including the full support of Shiketsu even after graduation, with many Shiketsu graduates still wearing their hats after graduation out of pride. Shiketsu shines next to U.A. as another star of heroism and stands unflinching as a testament to the longevity of heroism and its traditions. "Go Beyond! Plus Ultra!"Located in Musutafu Japan, U.A. is the number one ranked school for Heroics Education within Japan, only rivaled by Shiketsu, they are well-known for their high-ranking alumni that have and continue to hold positions within the top ten heroes of Japan. Their entrance exam consists of a combat simulation that puts the applicants face to face with dangers like they would face out in the field as a hero. This exam usually weeds out those who are physically weak or lacking in destructive quirks, but often the more crafty students find their way into the hallowed halls of U.A. with even the most non-assuming of quirks. Their staff and facility are among the best in the education system due in part to the massive amount of funding they get from heroic sponsors and support gear companies. They are well-known for their massive and innovative training grounds that push their students to their limits in practical scenarios. Grounds can range from a full sprawling city, to a forest grown specifically for training, to even a facility that can simulate natural disasters. Often other schools rent out these facilities for their own tests, if they are unable to afford such large training grounds themselves. U.A.'s dorms are also among some of the largest and most decorated in the country, with each grade and class getting their own building. Food being restocked to the building for use by the students in cooking and a large kitchen resides in each building to help build a sense of community against the students. Overall, when it comes to power and the height of Heroics there are few more obvious than U.A.. Further School Details.> Starts with-One Gold Quirk -One Silver Skill [googlefont=Orbitron]

>Bronze: A quirk of bronze rank is usually either something that has a lack of inherent power but while not obviously useful could be trained to a point where it could prove useful or a quirk with an obvious power but the user has not trained their quirk to the point where they can use it in a fight without facing repercussions soon after. Emitter & Transformation quirks at this level most often have a 3 post time limit on how they can be actively used, with leeway depending on how severe and plentiful the drawbacks and repercussions are. Mutant quirks at this level, while not having to rely on post counts nearly as often, are often those that while they have obvious advantages aren’t enough to make someone much more powerful than your average muscular human, or the powers they provide are harsh on the body if used for prolonged periods despite being a part of their anatomy. The destructive power of a bronze quirk is usually minor at best, with little obvious versatility. On average a bronze quirk is where most quirks begin and are yet to be trained or refined.
>Silver: A quirk of silver rank has undergone the fruits of training and has begun reaping the benefits. Quirks of this rank are often weaker quirks that the user has begun to understand how to make proper use of or quirks that are born inherently strong with fewer drawbacks than a Bronze quirk. Someone at silver rank has probably just started weekly training and has begun to understand what they can do with their quirk while extending how long they can use it before having to face the consequences of overextension. Emitter & Transformation quirks at this level often have a 5 post time limit where they can be actively used, with leeway depending on how severe and plentiful the drawbacks and repercussions are. Users of Emitter & Transformation quirks have often begun endurance training by this point and have begun to understand just how far they can push their quirks before feeling the backlash. Mutant quirks at this level are now beginning to reach a point just out of the reach of humanity. This may be something like strength that is similar to a peak human’s or a weak ability they can use without restriction like a sticky slime or wall-clinging, but like any other part of the body things like hunger or overexertion can still be an issue. Mutants at this level will begin undergoing physical training similar to that of any muscle or pushing the ability of their quirk to its limit. The destructive power of a silver quirk is usually enough to harm a normal person or have up to 2 layers of versatility. On average a silver quirk is either born above average or has been trained over a period of several months to a year.
>Gold: A quirk of gold rank has often reached the stage of training where it can reliably be used in combat skillfully due either to stricter training or to better genetics. Quirks of this rank are often those with an inconspicuous quirk who are quite skilled in its use or quirks that were born being incredibly powerful. Someone at gold rank has probably been training devotedly towards its improvement, and have been aiming to make their quirk usable in combat. Emitters & Transformation quirks at this level often have a 7 post time limit where they can be actively used, with leeway depending on how severe and plentiful the drawbacks and repercussions are. Users of Emitter & Transformation quirks have gone beyond the average endurance training and have begun to really push their powers to the limit, often training to the point of exhaustion to get ahead of the curve, or having had trained for a prolonged period of time as compared to a Silver quirk. Mutant quirks at this level will have been training their physical abilities for a prolonged period of time, dedicating themselves to the exercise of their quirk. Mutants at this level often have physical abilities that are well-beyond that of even peak human or have up to 2 abilities that they can use as an extension of their body with as much exertion as a human would have to flex a muscle. The destructive power of a gold quirk is usually enough to break through a wooden slab or brick or have up to 3 layers of versatility making it valuable in a wide variety of situations. On average a gold quirk is a rarity to be born with or has been trained over a period of several years. This is the level it takes to get into one of the top schools in Japan.
>Platinum: A quirk of platinum rank has often reached beyond that of personal training and is someone who is training under a hero school or being trained with a strict regimen. Quirks of this rank are often obviously powerful even if they from an outside perspective seem weak. People at this rank are fully understanding in every facet of their abilities and are learning how to apply them beyond power alone, or are going through training that pushes them beyond even physically-demanding to the point of superhuman. At this point, users will be able to use and apply a super move and will be actively moving to develop more. Emitters & Transformation quirks at this level often have a 9 post time limit where they can be actively used, with leeway depending on how severe and plentiful the drawbacks and repercussions are. Users of Emitters & Transformation platinum quirks have gone beyond simple training and are often being guided by someone with a wealth of experience in quirk combat, or have been engaged several times in combat against someone of similar skill level. Mutant quirks at this level will have been training their physical abilities with intense training or having learned to further applicate their physical capabilities. Mutants at this level often have physical abilities that are near-superhuman or have up to 3 abilities that they can use with little repercussion. The destructive power of a platinum quirk is enough to destroy a wall with active effort or have up to 4 layers of versatility. On average a platinum quirk is a once in a lifetime birth and is often the product of quirk marriage, or they have been training their quirk for at least a year under the supervision of a highly-skilled mentor or school or have been actively engaged in combat against skilled quirk users for a year.
>Titanium: A quirk of titanium rank is someone who has often graduated from a quirk school or has passed their mentor’s training and often has extremely grueling training regiments that they stick to without fault. People at this rank are often licensed-heroes or villains of a sizable threat, and have learned how to fully use their quirk and are now actively using it to help or harm others. At this point, users will be able to use and apply 2 super moves with them actively moving to develop their third and final. Emitter & Transformation quirks at this level often have an 11 post time limit where they can be actively used, with leeway depending on how severe and plentiful the drawbacks and repercussions are. Users of Emitters & Transformation quirks at this level have been actively involved in combat for at least a year with others of a similar skill level and are often in a full-time role of using their quirk in battle. Mutant quirks at this level will be capable of superhuman feats of physicality or are capable of using up to 4 abilities with little to no repercussion beyond that of pushing one’s muscles. The destructive power of a titanium quirk is enough to destroy a small building with active effort or have up to 5 layers of versatility. On average no normal person is born with a Titanium quirk and they are often born out of special circumstances or have graduated from a mentor’s training or quirk school, or they have been actively engaged in combat against skilled quirk users for several years.
>Diamond: A quirk of diamond rank is someone who has been fighting for several years and is often a commonplace name to anyone who actively follows their community. A hero of this rank can easily be researched, while a villain would at least be known in a whisper by the black-market depending on how upfront they were about their crimes they would also be a top priority of the hero society. Users of diamond quirks at this level have been actively involved in combat for several years against others of a similar skill level and are in the top percentages of their field. At this point, users will have developed all three of their super moves and can apply all three of them. Emitters & Transformation quirks at this level often have a 13 post time limit where they can be actively used, with leeway depending on how severe and plentiful the drawbacks and repercussions are. Mutant quirks at this level are often near the physically strongest people in Japan or are capable of up to 5 abilities with little to no repercussion beyond that of pushing one’s muscles. The destructive power of a diamond quirk is enough to destroy even a large building with active effort or have up to 6 layers of versatility. No person is ever born with a diamond quirk and it often takes years of training for even the strongest quirks to reach this point, people with these quirks are often regarded as some of the strongest heroes in Japan.
>Obsidian: A quirk of obsidian rank is someone who is the pinnacle of what a quirk can reach, often being symbols of both heroism and villainy. Their power is actively known even beyond the reaches of Japan. Villians of this level are actively known and hunted by the hero society and are considered to be a threat to not just Japan but the entire planet. Users of diamond quirks at this level have been actively involved in combat for at least 15 years and are often leaders of organizations. Emitter & Transformation quirks at this level often have no limit to how long they can be used but may grow weaker if over-exerted. Mutant quirks at this level are among some of the physically strongest people in the world and are capable of athletic feats of incredible proportions, or have up to 6 abilities they can use with little to not repercussion with no effort at all. The destructive power of an obsidian quirk is capable of leveling a city if left unchecked or they have up to 7 layers of versatility. No person is ever born with an obsidian quirk it is gained through a decade of combat and experience, or obtained through battle after battle against some of the strongest people in Japan.

Introduction: School and Character Creation Here on Heroism-Reignited we highly encourage that everyone's first character be a student. The character need not be complex, and they don't have to be overly active! This is solely to help flesh out all of our diverse schools and to make sure that if we have a school oriented event that every member of the site has a chance to participate! That said if you wish to start as a character that isn't a student please see the alternative start thread. We implement a vast array of starting stats for a variety of schools, to provide diversity for students and to allow anyone coming to make their first character feel like there is an option for them. U.A. for example, being the number one hero school has high level quirks but less skills. This gives U.A. students more obvious power at a glance, while schools like Ketsubetsu and Seijin make up for it with sheer quantity in what they are capable of. Sure you start with a weaker quirk but you also make up for it with your character's diverse set of skills. Any school is open to selection for your first character and you can join either 1-A or 1-B for every school, meaning you have flexibility about which class you get to join. If you join later into the site's lifespan you have the choice of your character having always been there, or being a late transfer. You have freedom to help describe how your character fits into the school of your choice! Each school beyond just stats has a deep and developed reason to be picked. Shiketsu while having the same stat layout as U.A. is more strict. You can't do certain things in Shiketsu like you could in U.A., but you make up for it with the sense of unity that your school provides and the sheer amount of pride that comes with wearing the hat. Seijin has a strong sense of unity preferring to build their students as a unit instead of thinking of them as a single hero. Seiai has more European inspired architecture and with it the complementaries that come with it, a tea room and the like. Things like this provide each school their own flavor that makes it more important than simply a different stat-block at character creation. Once you've decided upon which school you'd like your character to attend you can begin writing up your application using this template, or a template of your own creation or choosing. You can submit your application into the Character Index, and then @ staff within the Contact-Staff section of our discord! Further explanations of skills, quirks, and ranks can be found within the information section! If you have any questions about character creation, feel free to ask Bladedcat#6769 or again contact staff within the Contact-Staff section of our discord! [googlefont=Orbitron]

Quirks are the unique superhuman ability that nearly every child is gifted with upon birth by their genes. They can come in three different forms: Mutant quirks which are those that affect the very physiology of your character and are unable to be turned off, Transformation quirks similar to Mutant quirks in that they change the physiology of your character but have the unique ability to be turned off and on, finally Emitter quirks which allow the user to either manipulate the world around them or produce a substance/energy from themselves!
Being extensions to a humans body quirks often come with harsh repercussions onto the users if they are overused, such as exhaustion or backlash. It isn't uncommon for youths to practice their quirks at home as they grow the same as they would learn how to walk on two-legs. Typically using your quirk in public is frowned upon and it is generally regulated very strictly as any weapon would be. Some quirks that have been deemed non-threats are allowed to be used in public, or in their place of work as long as it is used sparingly. Children are especially non-regulated as it is viewed that kids should get a firm grasp of their quirk so that they can control it when they are older, more dangerous quirks are often trained in the care of a quirk specializing doctor with a regulated environment to minimize risk. Adults generally are not allowed to use their quirk if it could prove a danger to society, or is viewed as a potential threat. Such quirks are monitored by the police in a massive quirk database, as to know what they will be going up against when they arrive on scene to a crime. Heroes also have access to this vast quirk database as it allows them to plan potential strategies against the quirks they could run into. Children's quirks are registered into the database as early as 6 years old, as to monitor the potential of the quirk's growth before fully deciding. The database is regularly updated every 5 years during a quirk users physical exams.
Not all quirks are born equal and some are developed more powerful at birth than others are, this can be dependent on several factors such as genetic history, quirk breeding, and of course luck. Kids born with stronger quirks are often more regulated when they are younger and they will have to undergo several control classes before they are allowed to actively participate in school as to assure the safety of the other children they go to school with.
Quirks on site are wholly unique to each individual with the only allowed instances of characters sharing quirks being siblings or close relatives, this assures that everyone has a unique aspect to their character that no one else can copy. It isn't uncommon to find quirks that have similar aspects but it is near-impossible to find people with the exact same quirk that aren't close blood relatives.
Some characters may have aspects to their physiology that have nothing to do with their quirk, or have minimal relation to their quirk. For such appearance differences it's best that they have no effect on the character in the long run, but feel free to give your character a wholly unique look if you think it helps diversify them a little bit more.
The power levels of quirks are more described within the rank list written below, which describes a quirk as it grows stronger. There are clear power levels for each rank of quirk but it isn't entirely set in stone. Some quirks may last longer but aren't as destructive, whereas some quirks may not last as long and be more destructive! The timers and power levels aren't strict but are more guidelines for what to build your quirk around. If you feel uncertain on what to do please ask a Moderator for help or browse the quirk list for some examples of quirks!
Quirks grow stronger as your character engages in missions where they actively use their quirk! So don't pull out all the gung ho plans you have for your quirk right away! It's best to save some things for down the line, such as super moves! Read the ranks description for an understanding about which power level your quirk is at to further figure out just how strong it is!
