Skills on Heroism-Reignited are pre-written to maintain consistency between all the existing characters on site. These skills cover a wide variety of physical aspects such as strength, flexibility, and speed. Some skills cover mental things such as pain tolerance, and mental willpower. While the rest of the skills often cover things such as techniques and expertise, with skills such as martial arts and stealth!
While somewhat limited this system allows players to maintain consistency between each other's skills while also providing players with the ability to pick skills that fit their character's specialties! Players can pick any skills they want as long as they have the ranks for them, such as a U.A. student starting with a single silver skill could pick any of the below silver ranked versions of these skills, outside of exclusive ones such as the Seijin skill.
Additional Rules
-Hero Students who take the weapon training skill are unable to use weapons that may cause unavoidable lethal damage to someone these weapons include blades, guns, bombs, as well as other things subject to change.

While the descriptions for skills are rigid in their mechanical design you can flavor them however you like! Maybe your character has high endurance due to the track practice they used to take back in middle school, or perhaps your character has good acrobatics not due to gymnastics but due to a background as a circus performer! Feel free to add additional text to these skills that make them feel more accurate to your character. Things like weapon training can include things that may not seem ordinarily a weapon to you but are mechanically a weapon. Twice for example fights using a razor sharp tape measure, so feel free to create whatever weapons you feel accurately depict your characters. The only rules we ask you adhere to are the rules stated above such a weapons that cannot be less lethal such as knifes or guns stay forbidden for students of schools that are not Seijin. Besides that feel free to create whatever weapons and the like you would like, if you are unsure about the legality of a certain weapon or have any idea especially creative feel free to run it by a staff member and we'll try to get you situated! When it comes to martial arts styles this would cover things such as hand to hand or other physical combatant styles. While flavoring doesn't naturally influence the mechanical use of your character's basic skills it can allow you a lot more creative freedom on why they exactly have these abilities as well as what the skills mean to the character! To change skills mechanically see Variant Skills. To make entirely new skills see Skill Suggestions. To see the process of using the Engineering skill to make Support Gear, see the Support Gear section.
