BOARDS IN Shiketsu High School
The dorms of Shiketsu are very comparable to apartments, with a single tower housing all of the students in Shiketsu. Your grade determines where you are height-wise, with elder students being higher up the tower and younger students being lower down the tower. Your class determines which side of the tower you are on with A-class students being on the left-side and B-class students being on the right side.
Every floor has it's own recreation room for each class of students, as well as kitchens for students who prefer to fix themselves meals. On top of this, every floor has access to a balcony area where both classes can meet up to socialize and relax.
Third years have access to the rooftops which serve as a larger replacement to the social setting of the balconies that the lower floors have access to, each third-year dorm room also has access to a personal balcony.
Dorm rooms are two-room apartments with carpeted floors and a full bathroom. They are fairly spacious but also come at the detriment of Shiketsu's strict midnight curfew. Students who are not in their bedrooms by midnight are subject to punishment.
The Shiketsu cafeteria is located within the middle of the dorm complex being accessible by all students at any time after morning and until curfew! While the food they fix isn't phenomenal it is cultural to the area they live in, and they get all their ingredients from Okayama so it is as fresh as they can make it!
Often the teachers help in fixing everyone's food if their available but if they can't help they get trusted chefs within the area to help prepare it.
As for the area itself, it is a standard cafeteria for the most part but with the exception of sliding privacy blinds for every booth that helps give people the privacy they need while eating. Every booth is also fitted with a kotatsu for when it tends to get colder in the later months!
