(This is where the detail should come in. We would like you to be as specific and comprehensive as possible when it comes to detailing out your Quirk’s abilities. This section is significant, and alongside your Quirk’s drawbacks, will be the most scrutinized part of the application. We have a few basic guidelines to highlight how to make this process go smoother for all and how to get the most out of your character upon submission:
- Detail the extent and range of your power the best you can. You can provide numbers for comparison and examples or visuals are always welcome! (ex: Strong enough to lift a large boulder with one hand)
- You may have a max of three boons, or quirk advantages, to begin with. (ex: this mermaid mutation quirk user can self-regenerate, swim through storms and sing at supersonic frequencies). The more you have starting off with, max of three, the less powerful each component will be (see: dual-quirks).
- When creating a quirk consider the rank at which you’re starting off with (see: Quirks page for more information). For example, when making a Novice or Beginner level quirk, it is best to start with a simple concept. This doesn’t mean that it has to be necessarily weak. It just means that you should save the more complex features for down the road. After all, you always want to have something to shoot for with your future upgrades!
- Carefully think about your cool downs entering the RP. (ex: Novice quirks generally have a 3/2 cooldown ratio. Three posts of active use. Two posts of down time.)
For those hoping to submit a dual-quirk character, it’s highly recommended that you talk to staff beforehand to see if your idea will be feasible. Typical examples of dual-quirk include Half-Hot, Half-Cold or something like an animal mutation with a specific elemental power. Each component of the quirk will need its own drawbacks and be balanced, much the same as the “three boons” rule. Dual-quirk characters are not inherently stronger than their single-quirk peers.)
[attr="class","theEGGheader"]QUIRK DRAWBACKS
(These should be fair, reasonable, and most importantly related in some way to your Quirk. Remember that Quirks are a physical extension of your character’s body, meaning that overuse or overexertion can lead to severe harm to the body. Along with your Quirk’s description, this part of your application will be heavily examined as well. All quirk users can get headaches or fatigued if they overwork their power - how does this drawback relate specifically to your character? Drawbacks are separate from cooldowns.)
[attr="class","theEGGheader"]PLUS ULTRA?
I was told this existed I don't see it on the normal app, but I added it none the less.

(Any other abilities your character might have. Enhanced speed? Improved endurance? Are they trained in Muay Thai? Do they have enhanced eyesight or other senses? List them here! Keep in mind that these abilities have their rankings and descriptions just like Quirks.)
This requires specific and measurable detail as to its power or function, but need not be as extensive as the quirk. Abilities differ from quirks in that they are not as versatile as a quirk, since that’s a character’s core essence, but can still be just as powerful as a quirk of the same rank! |

[attr="class","theEGGinfo"] Izanami Ryūzaki is a voluptuous young woman with long legs, wide hips, and a large bust. She has shimmering, violet colored eyes and a flowing mane of turquoise hair she wears long enough to trail down to her knees. Izanami has lilac skin that is almost ashen grey on first glance. Afflicted by Argyria from a young age due to the nature of her Quirk, her skin, eyes, and even internal organs are discolored due to high concentrations of elemental silver in her body. However, these features are overshadowed by the more monstrous mutations brought on by her Quirk.
Izanami's Quirk, Molten Dragon, has given the woman a number of mutations that are often described as draconic in nature, or even demonic by others. First and foremost, she has two sets of crimson horns protruding from her upper skull. A smaller main set above and a larger primary pair below. Secondly, and perhaps her most major mutation, is a great mantle of spikes that juts from the woman's upper back. They are both wide and tall, making her figure over twice as broad as her shoulders would imply. Izanami's mantle is composed of dense armored spines and bone, reddening at its tips from copper and iron build up. Wreathed in blades of bone and held together by muscular membranes, this mantle has led to many believing she looks more akin to a Villain.
With crimson talons for nails, and bony ridges along her arms give the woman an armored, sinister appearance. Last, though hardly least of the woman's bizarre mutations are two enormous tail-like tendrils that grow from her lower back. Long as Izanami is tall, and thicker around than her waist, the woman's twin tails are covered in a hard, chitinous carapace. Their length is covered in barbs and spines of piercing bone, with magma like muscle throbbing beneath the exposed seams in her chitin.

[attr="class","theEGGinfo"] In her Dragon form, Izanami's body is entirely covered in its black, armor like, craggy scales. The exception is along her underbelly and neck, where there is red and orange discoloration. In this form her body is akin to an enormous, living furnace, and her eyes glow with a fiery light. Her tail is very long, incredibly powerful, thick with bands of muscles and tipped in a spiny club of razor sharp bone. Her skull is massive, and very heavy, and her lower jaw possesses a pronounced under bite. Within her mouth are rows of large white fangs, inwardly curved like daggers arranged in a jagged, uneven fashion. Two large black horns jut from Izanami's skull, and several smaller horns from her jawline extend backwards in a ridge along the underside of her cheeks. She also has a horned spike on her nose.
When transformed, Izanami's Hero Costume becomes a series of armored plates attached at various points along her shoulders, arms, and back. She also wears a reinforced plate on her jaw to help protect her head from injuries. Izamami's wings erupt from her back between the spine and shoulder blades. They are enormous in size, beating the ground with gale force winds sufficient to lift her titanic bulk into the skies. The leathery membranes that line her wings are a reddish discoloration, whereas the bones and spines of the wings themselves are ebony black as the rest of her. They are tipped in spiked barbs, boast jagged claws, and the sound they make as they beat strikes fear into Villains who hear it.

| | [attr="class","theEGGinfo"]
Izanami Ryūzaki’s personality is in and of itself as draconic in its features. Like the dragons of legend, she is incredibly vain, proud, and haughty. The woman can be exceedingly self centered and cynical, and is frequently either icy cold with others or driven into a fiery rage when angered. Temperamental to a fault, she tends to struggle with her emotions and finds it easier to bury them rather than risk having another outburst. This often makes her seem stone faced to those around her, a trait she has inherited from her own grim father. She is quick to judge, and quicker to punish. Her judgments themselves considered very harsh, but often fair.
Despite this, Izanami is an extremely caring individual. She has a strong moral compass, believing in justice and protecting the innocent above all else. Izanami believes strong Quirks are great gifts and their owners are meant for a higher calling. As a result she resents those that misuse their Quirks for malevolent purposes, seeing them as stains on society abusing their good fortunes for easy exploits. The woman is very motherly and affectionate to those younger than herself when she wants to be, often forgetting personal space in the process. One known to frequently hug, Izanami often displays a more flirtatious side with men she is interested in or in an attempt to coerce others into giving her things she desires... such as free food or compliments on her figure.
A notable glutton, and a self proclaimed carnivore, Izanami has a voracious appetite that stems from her Quirk. She holds a distinct love for chocolate, red meat, and barbecue. Despite this Izanami is a mediocre cook herself, and would much rather go out dining or be invited to a dinner party than make her own meals. In a similar vein, her public and private personas display a stark contrast cultivated to make her appear diligent and tireless as a public servant. Publicly, Izanami is a workaholic and a perpetual whirlwind of efficiency. In private, the reality is Izanami is actually rather lazy. A big fan of naps, falling asleep watching television, and heated blankets. Izanami detests chores, and will put off housework as long as humanly possible. Though in the end even she can admit it feels better knowing all the chores are taken care of and she can finally rest with clear conscious.

[attr="class","theEGGdiv"] [attr="class","theEGGide"] [attr="class","theEGGdivtit"]CHAPTER ONE
[attr="class","theEGGinfo"] Izanami Ryūzaki was born in Minato Ward, Tokyo at Tokyo General Hospital to her parents, Yamata and Kushina Ryūzaki. At the time her parents were still both active Pro-Heroes, operating under the hero names King Dragon and Snake Princess respectively. Her mother was forced into early retirement by her pregnancy, though her father remained one of Tokyo's most prominent heroes. Izanami was raised chiefly by her mother in her youth, seeing little of her father between his busy schedule of crime fighting, media appearances, and the management of his brand. The eldest of what would become three siblings, Izanami was joined a few short years later by her younger brothers Yashima and Ōnamuchi. Only after having sons did their father Yamata begin to take more than a passing interest in his children.
Izanami grew up without want, being raised in the luxury provided for by her parents' celebrity status as Pro-Heroes. The Ryūzaki children were doted on by nannies and servants, dressed in finely tailored clothing, and played the latest toys and video games. In spite of this, Yamata went to great lengths to ensure his progeny did not grow up to become 'self absorbed, empty headed failures', in his own words. Yamata was a stern father. Austere to a fault, with a black and white view on justice and morality. Only his unwavering dedication to the rule of law kept King Dragon from being judge, jury, and executioner to his criminals. The Ryūzaki patriarch had his children enrolled in expensive private schooling, tutored by well paid specialists, and trained by their own martial arts instructor from a young age. Driven by his own visions of legacy, heritage, and duty, Yamata sought to mold his children into the heroes of tomorrow. He ultimately succeeded.
When she came of age, Izanami graduated from private schooling, and took the next step; enrolling in a Hero School program. Naturally Yamata had his daughter enrolled in his own alma mater, the world famous and much esteemed U.A. High Schoo, on recommendation of course. Initially taunted as a 'daddy's girl' who only made the cut based on her father's reputation, Izanami quickly proved her peers horribly wrong. With her brutish strength, sharp intellect, and burning rage, the young dragoness soared to the top of her class rankings to the dismay of her peers and the quiet pride of her father. Izanami's younger brothers proved to lack her unbridled drive, causing Yamata to divert more of his time and 'affection' to his eldest child. He soon began grooming Izanami to be his personal successor and taking her under his wing as his Sidekick following her victory in the annual Sports Festival. [attr="class","theEGGdiv"] [attr="class","theEGGide"] [attr="class","theEGGdivtit"]CHAPTER TWO During her internship with her father, Izanami was spared no such thing as luxury. Treated as his protégé first and Yamata's sidekick second, she endured battles against Villains well above what should have been expected of her. This was in addition to her heavy burden of school work, a brutal training regiment under Yamata's watchful guidance, and being frequently pitted against her siblings in familial brawls. Yamata’s tutelage proved exceedingly harsh, but ultimately fruitful. Izanami went on to place very highly in the Provisional Hero License Exams, passing even as a ‘lowly’ first year student.Since then Izanami continued to operate as her father’s premiere Sidekick until her ultimate graduation several years later. Now a fully licensed Hero, Izanami, now sporting the hero name Caldera, an obvious reference to volcanic nature of her Quirk, formally took up residence as a full fledged member of Team Ryūzaki. Operating out of Ryūzaki Tower, Yamata’s Hero Office claimed dominion over the greater Tokyo Metropolis, sharing this territory with numerous other Hero Offices and independent Heroes needed to patrol Japan's thriving capital.
Izanami spent the next several years serving dutifully underneath Yamata. She pursued further education in her free time, finishing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration through the University of Tokyo’s online program. In the meantime, Izanami was acting as King Dragon’s second-in-command, and being given the greater share of the day to day operation of Ryūzaki Tower as time passed on. She was well aware her father had spent the last decade and a half grooming her to be his successor, though it was still a surprise to her the day Yamata finally announced it was time to hang up his cape and go into formal retirement. In this time Izanami's extreme drive and dedication earned her a significant fame and fortune as a Pro-Hero. She has even accomplished one of her crowning achievements as a Pro-Hero, namely landing the coveted front page photo shoot for Pro-Heroes Illustrated: Swimsuit Edition. Sadly though, this goal was also overshadowed by being crowned rank one on the Hero Billboard Chart's list of 'Heroes who look like Villains.'
Confident in his daughter’s abilities, and having taught her everything he knows, Yamata eventually stepped down and relinquished leadership of Team Ryūzaki to Izanami. Though officially King Dragon is fully retired in order to preserve his health and spend time with his loving wife, informally the Ryūzaki patriarch is a workhorse that couldn’t stand retirement once he got a taste of it. Yamata continues to assist his daughter and sons in a strictly administrative capacity, and has taken up a secondary career as a government liaison on behalf of Pro-Heroes. His ties to both Pro-Heroes active and retired, as well as his no nonsense approach to business and his fond dislike of career politicians have made him ideal for the position. [attr="class","theEGGdiv"] [attr="class","theEGGide"] [attr="class","theEGGdivtit"]CHAPTER THREE In the meanwhile things remained business as usual for Ryūzaki Tower. Izanami’s transition into leader was a seamless one, and she quickly took in her younger brothers as her personal Sidekicks as she continued to pass on the torch. However, the young dragoness had dreams beyond just carrying out her father’s legacy. Izanami longed to create a legacy of her own, beyond flashy news headlines and an impressively long list of cases closed. For Izanami, she wished to train the next great generation of heroes, and to do so in a manner less draconian than her own father’s training with her. While she respected Yamata immensely, and valued his thoughts on strength, duty, and valor, she knew a guiding hand could often achieve the same results as a forceful shove.
To achieve this goal, Izanami has applied to U.A. High as a teacher, and with her father’s begrudging blessings accepted a position to teach. She continues her own career in Heroism and the overall leadership of Team Ryūzaki, though her students are her first and foremost priority. She leaves much of the administration of 'her' Hero Agency to that of her brothers, who now operate Team Ryūzaki in all-but-name. Yashima does not mind much, having largely stepped up to the plate upon realizing how much faith his older sister has placed in him. Neither of Izanami's siblings has any desire to teach, and happily take to heroism as a means to escape from under her shadow in the same way she looks to teaching to escape from under their father's.
Between her academic accolades, her family reputation, and her own flourishing career as a Pro-Hero, Izanami was able to easily land the job. She became U.A.'s newest Modern Literature Teacher, which is what her teaching certifications were taken for. Izanami transfer into the position came following the retirement of beloved friend and mentor, the Jet Engine Hero: Afterburner. She has been at the position over five years now, long enough she's seen her first classes of students graduate, go onto become Sidekicks, and even begin branching out and forming their own proper Hero Agencies. Teaching has slightly mellowed out her once fiery temperament, though Izanami's students are quick to see some fires never truly burn out when they misbehave or break curfew. The Dragon Queen reigns over High U.A. High School, and her wings cast a long shadow over the city of Musutafa. |

Her Hero Costume is a similar deep grey black to that of her body, with deep crimson accents. It flaunts a large valley of cleavage and exposes her bare midriff, both of these decisions purely made out of vanity over function. The outfit does not include shoes, merely covering Izanami's feet and allowing her toes and claws to poke through. Lastly, there is a ring of spikes around her hips, which are there chiefly for intimidation, as though it is even needed. [attr="class","theEGGitem"] | [attr="class","theEGGitemname"]U.A. Campus Keys

Izanami's Quick is the aptly named Molten Dragon. Like her father before her, she is able to transform into an immense fire breathing dragon like those of mythology. In her dragon form she is enormous, roughly the size of a city bus, with a wingspan comparable to a that of a large jet aircraft. Her dragon form has a rather rough and almost volcanic appearance, with jagged black scales and uneven armored, bony plates jutting from its body. Some is natural growths, others are ill healed wounds from hard battles fought and won over a decade long career as a Pro-Hero. Izanami's dragon form is quadrupedal, with four stout legs ending in clawed toes with large rending talons. Her scales are hard as iron, and her body burns like a living furnace with her internal core temperatures exceeding thousands of degrees Fahrenheit.
However, unlike her father's Quirk, Izanami has a Mutation side to her Molten Dragon, inherited from her mother. Izanami does not have a perfectly 'normal' human form. She began changing at five years old, as her body began to inherit and display a number of monstrous and draconic features of its own. Most immediately noticeable, Izanami has a huge mantle of bony, armored spikes growing out from her upper back. These give her a profile several feet taller and nearly twice as broad as she is, sadly requiring her to turn sideways to enter most conventional doorways and an inability to sit comfortably on certain seating. Two long tail-like tendrils also protrude from her lower back, covered in spiked barbs. She can never deactivate these features, even in the presence of Quirk suppressing effects. Though she hardly minds, having grown love her unique appearance. In her human form, Izanami still boasts sharp claws, jagged spikes, and her barbed tendrils as natural weapons. Though she cannot breath fire in her human state, she is known to exhale puffs of smoke when angered.
When it comes to usage of her Quirk, Izanami can transform into her Molten Dragon form at will, needing no special commands beyond conscious thought. Her transformation is quick, but it is not instant, needing 1 post to transform to or from her dragon form. She cannot transform individual aspects of her body, as some transformations can. Her Quirk only exists in human or dragon states, with no middling ground beyond her strange draconic mutations. Izanami has sufficient control of her Quirk to remain passively transformed for hours on end if need be, and could likely spend an entire day transformed if it consisted only of eating, sleeping, and light physical exertion. Actively however, she can only maintain her transformation for a 10 post duration in the heat of battle. Afterwards she needs significant time to physically recharge, including a large meal and plenty of rest.
[attr="class","theEGGheader"]LIMITATIONS
- Draconic Might: Molten Dragon gives Izanami almost unparalleled physical strength and resilience, allowing her superhuman feats of might and durability befitting of her status as a veteran Pro-Hero. She is able to bulldoze her way through most walls and structures, and can topple large buildings with sheer strength alone. Her claws and teeth are razor sharp, capable of rending through even thick steel plates with minimal resistance. The bite force exerted by Izanami's jaws is approximately 2000 pounds per square inch, making it equivalent to that of a hippopotamus. Izanami is capable of lifting several times her own body mass over her head, and can carry weight in excess of her total mass for brief periods of time when on solid ground. Her maximum lifting capacity is a staggering 15,423kg (34,000lbs) though she may only safely hold up this much weight for 1 post. Additionally, she may carry 7,712kg (17,000lbs) for 2 posts, half that amount for 4 posts, and a quarter of that amount for 8 posts. Her dragon form is also much faster than her normal self, chiefly due to its longer limbs and greater overall size. Over land Izanami moves in a sinusoidal gait, walking at speeds of 8kph (5mph). Her running speed however reaches 25kph (15mph) and she must be able to run in order to properly take off with her wings. Additionally, in her dragon form Izanami is capable of walking on her hind limbs, though she lacks the balance to move faster than a lumbering gait when walking upright.
- Draconic Flight: One of Molten Dragon's most iconic abilities is it allows Izanami the power of flight. Her vast wingspan allow for flight speeds similar to that of Hatzegopteryx, though her great mass makes gliding for more than brief periods unsustainable. She has a cruising speed of 90kph (56mph), though Izanami does fly at higher bursts on take off in order to get herself airborne. Each beat of her wings emits strong winds on the area immediately below her, and as a result she has 'rotor wash' that similar that of a large cargo helicopter. Despite her titanic strength, Izanami is still bound by aerodynamics, and is unable to fly when carrying a load weighing in excess of roughly twelve percent of her total mass. As such, Izanami's effective maximum carrying capacity in fight is just over a ton, or 925kg (2,040lbs) to be precise. Bulky or cumbersome shaped loads can also further impede her aerodynamic profile, making her fly even slower than she already does when carrying a heavy object.
- Fire Breath: Molten Dragon's most iconic power is the ability to breath powerful jets of molten flame. Izanami's flames have an incredible effective range, though their potency diminishes the further they travel before reaching the target. Her fire breath can reach up to 100m (330ft), though it begins to lose intensity past 50m, and is roughly half its initial temperature at the edge of her range. At their epicenter Izanami's flames burn hot enough to easily melt rock into molten sludge and burn a white hot. The center of her flames reaches a staggering 1370°C (2500°F), though even the edge of her fire is sufficient to warp metal as it heats it red hot. Direct contact with Izanami's fire breath in the first half of its range inflicts searing third degree burns, and exposure in the latter half will leave still grievous second degree burns. Though she has great reserves of inner propellant, Izanami's ability to breath fire is not infinite. Eventually she will exhaust her Quirk's supply and be left with only smoke to exhale until she can recuperate. Of the 10 posts Izanami can remained transformed, she has enough propellant to breath fire for 9 of them. However she cannot breath fire for more than 3 posts consecutively without overheating herself.
- Molten Physiology: Unsurprisingly, Molten Dragon has an equally volcanic biology behind it, keeping the Quirk running like a living eruption. In her dragon form, Izanami's body composition is closer to that of volcanic rock than bone and scale. Her blood becomes magma, and her internal temperatures become akin to that of a volcano. This immense heat is where she draws both her power and strength from, a living furnace that expels flames and radiates heat. There is a persistent heat emanating from her dragon form at all times, like being trapped in a sauna. Lastly, Izanami's Dragon form is nearly impervious to fire and high temperatures, as its scales provide both excellent insulation from heat, as well as being an incredibly poor conductor of heat as a whole.
[attr="class","theEGGheader"]QUIRK DRAWBACKS
Molten Dragon's largest weakness is its own immense size. While Izanami is transformed she is as large as a city bus, and thus has extreme difficulty fitting into most interior spaces. Transforming in enclosed spaces such as indoors or underground will cause her to destroy her immediate surroundings as she changes in size. Unless the load bearing capability of the structure she is within exceeds the forces exerted on it as she transforms. This includes places such as reinforced structures, subways, and most industrial facilities. If she is unable to fit within the place she attempts to transform inside of, the compression is painful and forces her to revert back into her human form or risk injuring herself.
Molten Dragon is a destructive Quirk by nature, as its considerable physical size, strength, weight, and fire breath have great capacity to inflict immense collateral damage. Izanami must be weary about infrastructure damage such as broken gas lines, fuel tanks, and spilled combustibles when using her fire breath. Additionally, the sheer weight of her Dragon form is sufficient to crack weak pavement, leave deep footprints in soft earth, and will collapse structures not weighted to withstand her standing upon them. This largely keeps Izanami from landing on any building or rooftop incapable of supporting a large military helicopter. Instead, she must opt to transform immediately above the surface and simply fall the remainder of the way to land on her feet.
Though it goes without saying, Molten Dragon provides Izanami virtually no ability to conduct stealth or espionage, in either of her forms. Her figure is unmistakable in her human form, and her dragon form is far too large to ever achieve anything resembling stealth. This has largely kept her from the investigative side of Hero work, focusing instead on rescue missions and Villain combat. Her high internal temperatures also make her stand out like a beacon on any infrared or thermal imaging, and the high metal content of her scales and bones causes her to set off metal detectors she may pass through. Furthermore, her Quirk makes shopping a nightmare, as her clothes must all be custom tailored to accommodate her unique mutations.
While Molten Dragon grants Izanami a massive increase to strength and durability, it does nothing to bolster her overall agility, or heighten her natural reflexes. Her senses remain as keen as they were prior to her transformation, which when combined with the sheer increase in size and mass makes her significantly more cumbersome when moving about. Molten Dragon has large blind spots at her rear and underbelly, and struggles against nimble opponents able to exploit this. Her hindquarters are particularly vulnerable, being defended only by her clubbed tail and hind legs, out of range of her jaws or flame breath. Her wings also prove to be a particular point of weakness, as Izanami is already far from a graceful flier. She cannot hover, and needs suitably large stretches of open ground to pick of speed necessary for flight. More important though, is that damaging her wings is a surefire way to remove her flight abilities. Izanami is barely aerodynamic as is between her size and weight, and any serious damage to her wings will remove her ability to fly until they are properly healed.
Once transformed, Molten Dragon cannot make use of any weapon proficiency or martial arts skill that Izanami possesses in her human form, fighting instead on pure strength. Furthermore, Molten Dragon places great metabolic strain on Izanami's body, and burns calories at a hyper accelerated rate. As a result Izanami consumes significantly more food than the average adult even factoring for her above average height and eccentric build. Upon exiting her Dragon form after a prolonged period of time she is often left famished and ravenous, needing to thoroughly gorge herself and sleep for an abnormal length of time before she can fully recover.
Molten Dragon's Achilles's Heel is its underbelly, as this is where her armor is the thinnest, and it is the closest to her vital organs. Attacks to her underside stand the greatest chance of injuring her, and the highest chance of piercing through her armored hide. Her molten physiology is very delicate, relative to the strength of her Quirk. Molten Dragon is highly taxing on Izanami to use in prolonged bursts of high energy. Any time she uses a Super Move, uses her Flame Breath for 3 posts consecutively, or lifts her maximum capacity, she shortens the overall transformation time of her Quirk by 1 post. Despite being a living volcano, Molten Dragon in itself is not immune to overheating. Overuse of her Quirk could cause Izanami to begin to 'melt down' as her body overheats, which is painful enough to force her to revert back to normal. The closest feeling she can describe this sensation to is a heart attack, as it sends an intense pain shooting out from within her chest as her body begins to cook itself from within. Once forced to revert back to normal by exertion, Izanami is unable to access her dragon form for the remainder of a thread.
Last but not least is Molten Dragon's flame affinity, which while Izanami is able to breath streams of fire from her mouth and radiate intense heat from her body, she also lacks any form of pyrokinesis to control said flames. The fire she breaths is and the heat she produces is mundane in its properties, and is no more or less susceptible to manipulation by various fire or combustion based Quirks. Her body's natural resistance to heat is not without its limits, and while she immune to flames and even magma, Izanami is still vulnerable to intense sources of prolonged heat such as lasers, superheated gases, high voltage electrical currents, and gaseous plasma. As a molten reptilian in her dragon form, Izanami is also very susceptible to extreme cold, lacking body hair or cold weather insulation. Ice, snow, frost, and other sources of cold weather are all increasingly debilitating when exposed to. More important than that, extreme freezing is her greatest weakness, as it can solidify her molten blood and cool the internal magma within her. This is equivalent to frostbite if allowed to heavily effect her body. Similar, albeit weaker, the effectiveness of her fire breath and flame abilities is diminished in driving rain, heavy blizzards, and rendered nearly useless underwater.

[attr="class","theEGGgifs"] [attr="class","theEGGgifbox"]
[attr="class","theEGGh1"]Bellowing Roar: [attr="class","theEGGinfo"] Izanami's signature battle cry when using Molten Dragon. She inhales deeply and lets out a titanic roar that shakes the very ground beneath her. Loud enough to rupture the ear drums of anyone immediately in front of her, her bellowing roar can be heard for kilometers away at its full strength. It is less an attack, and more of a warning meant to strike fear into the very hearts of evil. A warning that even the most sinister powers can be wielded by the purest of hearts, and the eyes of the Molten Dragon are upon those who would commit evil upon her domain. [attr="class","theEGGgifs"] [attr="class","theEGGgifbox"] [attr="class","theEGGh1"]Grand Skyfall: [attr="class","theEGGinfo"] Izanami's most mundane Super Move when using Dragon Queen. In a burst of heat and exertion she rockets her body skyward, then plummets back down to the ground using her immense weight to crush anything unfortunate enough to be caught beneath her. It is most often used as a non-fire oriented means to destroy Villainous creations where her superhuman strength alone is simply not sufficient. It is also how she will enter the fray in a pitched battle, simply opting to land directly on her foes and trample them as her opening move. The radius of Grand Skyfall approximately 10 meters, and will crush any material beneath it that cannot withstand Izanami's mass crashing down upon it. [attr="class","theEGGgifs"] [attr="class","theEGGgifbox"] [attr="class","theEGGh1"]Cataclysm: [attr="class","theEGGinfo"] Izanami's grandest Super Move, reserved only for dire situations. She flies along at high speeds, emitting a vast cloak of flames from her wings. By flying low over an area she can unleash a massive firestorm on the ground beneath her, carpet bombing an area in flames and saturating it for near total destruction. This attack is extremely indiscriminate, so it is advised any and all civilian life be evacuated, as well as most other Pro-Heroes. It is chiefly used as a means to create a fire line, to stem the spread of wild fires. Its second most common usage is as a publicity stunt to spectacle crowds if Izanami is scheduled to attend some public event such as a festival or parade. It has become tradition she commemorates the beginning of the U.A. Sports Festival with a Cataclysm flyby. Cataclysm casts a 60 meter wide blanket of fire beneath Izanami's wings, which she can bathe over a 400 meter long stretch of ground. |

Far from useless in her human form, Izanami displays incredible prowess in hand to hand and unarmed combat. A master of several styles of martial arts, Izanami combines her various black belts together into a fusion of styles she affectionately dubs her 'Dragon Claw Style.' Focusing on razor sharp claw swipes, heavy hitting punches and kicks, Izanami also employs her tail-tendrils heavily when fighting. They can lash out like whips, slamming into opponents like bone crushing flails, pummeling them with their broad faces like hammers, or skewering their way through soft tissue. Izanami is known to constrict her opponents with her tendrils, holding them in her clutches and threatening to skewer them on her spines if they attempt to break free. Her tail-tendrils and the great mantle of spikes on her back help cover her blind spots, and she can focus her attention forward while still having tools at her disposal to strike at foes to her flanks or behind. She is very agile in spite of her odd body structure, easily able to flip through the air, and display great feats of martial agility from years of dedicated training.

Izanami is a season Pro-Hero, battle tested from a decade long career, and highly trained from years as a Sidekick and student before that. She has honed her body and mind, gaining with them the lightning fast reflexes to react to split-second stimuli without so much as a second thought. Her Quirk comes naturally to her, and she can transform reflexively as a response to danger. In battle, Izanami relies almost purely on muscle memory to supplement her skills. Her human form is still a dangerous combatant, possessing great feats of agility and dexterity to compliment her martial prowess. Unfortunately though, these skills do not translate to her dragon form, which is far too large and cumbersome for such displays of graceful agility. Her dragon form remains a lumbering behemoth, in spite of her training.

Izanami possesses great pain tolerance, the result of her Quirk's own natural durability, her mental fortitude, and years of intense training. She is able to ignore injuries up to Silver tier without consequence for up to 5 posts before feeling their effects. Interesting to note is that injuries sustained in either state transfer equivalently between them. So that what may be a large gash on her dragon form, relative to the weapon used, is a small wound in comparison to overall size of her dragon form. Meaning upon reverting to normal, the wound is rather trivial. The inverse is true though, and a debilitating wound on her human form will remain equally debilitating on her dragon form. |

NAME: Izanami Ryūzaki ALIAS: Dragon Queen AGE: Twenty-EightGENDER: FemaleROLE: Pro-Hero ALTER EGO: Dragon Hero: CalderaSCHOOL: U.A. High SchoolCLASS: Foundational Hero Studies
One known to frequently hug, Izanami often displays a more flirtatious side with men she is interested in or in an attempt to coerce others into giving her things she desires... such as free food or compliments on her figure..
Izanami Ryūzaki was born in Minato Ward, Tokyo at Tokyo General Hospital to her parents, Yamata and Kushina Ryūzaki.
During her internship with her father, Izanami was spared no such thing as luxury.
She even achieved one of her crowning achievements as a Pro-Hero, namely landing the coveted cover shoot for Pro-Heroes Illustrated: Swimsuit Edition. Sadly though, this goal was also overshadowed by being crowned rank one on the Hero Billboard Chart's list of Heroes who look like Villains.
In the meanwhile things remained business as usual for Ryūzaki Tower.
Though initially the Modern Literature Teacher, which is what her teaching certifications were taken in, Izanami has since moved on to teaching Foundational Hero Studies following the retirement of beloved friend and mentor, the Jet Engine Hero: Afterburner.
QUIRK: Dragon QueenQUIRK TYPE: Dual Type: Mutation / Transformation QUIRK DESCRIPTION: Izanami, like her father before her, is able to transform into an immense fire breathing dragon like those of mythology. In her dragon form she is massive, larger and heavier than a city bus with a wingspan comparable to a full sized jumbo jet. Her dragon form has a rather rough and almost volcanic appearance, with jagged black scales and uneven armored, bony plates jutting from its body. Some is natural growths, others are ill healed wounds from hard battles fought and won over a decade long career as a Pro-Hero. Her dragon form is quadrupedal, with four stout legs ending in clawed toes with large rending talons.
However, unlike her father before her, Izanami has a Mutation side to her Quirk, inherited from her mother.
In addition, Izanami has four large red horns that sprout from her head, in two sets of two. A larger pair below, and a smaller pair above. Her skin is an ashen grey color, chiefly caused by Argyria of her skin. She has crimson talons instead of fingernails, and dewclaws growing like stiletto heels from her feet.
In her Dragon form, Izanami's body is entirely covered in its black, armor like, craggy scales. The exception is along his underbelly and neck, where there is red and orange discoloration. Her tail is very long, incredibly powerful, thick with bands of muscles and tipped in a spiny club of razor sharp bone. Her skull is massive, and very heavy, and her lower jaw possesses a heavy under bite. Within her mouth are rows of large white fangs, inwardly curved like daggers arranged in jagged uneven rows. Two large black horns jut from Izanami's skull, and several smaller horns from her jawline extend backwards in a ridge along the underside of her cheeks.
QUIRK LIMITATIONS: Dragon Queen gives Izanami almost unparalleled physical strength and resilience, allowing her superhuman feats of might and durability befitting of a former Top Ten Pro-Hero. She is able to easily bulldoze her way through most walls and structures, and can topple large buildings with sheer strength alone. Her claws and teeth are razor sharp, capable of rending through even thick steel plates with minimal resistance. The bite force exerted by Izanami's jaws is in excess of that of the ancient Megalodon, and her wings allow for flight speeds similar to that of Hatzegopteryx though her great mass makes gliding for more than brief periods unsustainable.
Despite her titanic strength, Izanami is still bound by aerodynamics, and is unable to fly when carrying a load weighing in excess of roughly twelve percent of her total mass. She is however capable of lifting several times her own body mass and carrying weight in excess of her mass for brief periods of time when on solid ground. Her dragon form is also much faster than her normal self, chiefly due to its longer limbs and greater overall size. Over land Izanami is able to run at speeds of 14mph (23kph) and sprinting for double that for short durations. Alternatively she is capable of walking on his hind limbs, though she lacks the balance to move faster than a lumbering gait when walking upright.
Dragon Queen's most iconic power is the ability to breath powerful jets of molten flame. Izanami's flames have an incredible effective range, though their potency diminishes the further they travel before reaching the target. At their epicenter her flames burn hot enough to easily melt rock into molten sludge and burn a white hot. Even the edge of her fire is sufficient to warp metal as it heats it red hot. Though she has great reserves of inner propellant, Izanami's ability to breath fire is not infinite. Eventually she will exhaust her Quirk's supply and be left with only smoke to exhale until she can recuperate. Lastly, Izanami's Dragon form is nearly impervious to fire and high temperatures, as its scales provide both excellent insulation from heat, as well as being an incredibly poor conductor of heat as a whole.
QUIRK DRAWBACKS: Dragon Queens's largest weakness is its own great size. While Izanami is transformed she is larger even than a city bus, and thus has extreme difficulty fitting into most interior spaces. If she is unable to fit within the place she attempts to transform inside of, the compression is painful and forces her to revert back into her human form.
Dragon Queen is a destructive Quirk by nature, as both its physical size, strength, weight, and fire breath have great capacity to inflict collateral damage. This largely keeps Izanami from landing on rooftops not rated for large police and medical helicopters without transforming back into her human form first.
While Dragon Queen grants a massive increase to strength and durability, it does nothing to bolster Izanami's overall agility, or heighten her reflexes. Her senses remain as keen as they were prior to her transformation, which when combined with the sheer increase in size and mass makes her significantly more cumbersome when moving about. Dragon Queen has large blind spots at her rear and underbelly, and struggles against nimble opponents able to exploit this. Furthermore, Dragon Queen places great metabolic strain on Izanami's body, and burns calories at a hyper accelerated rate. As a result Izanami consumes significantly more food than the average adult of her height and build, and upon exiting her Dragon form after a prolonged period of time she is often left famished and ravenous.
Lastly is Dragon Queen's flame affinity, which while Izanami is able to breath streams of fire from her mouth, she also lacks any form of pyrokinesis to control said flames. The fire she breaths is mundane in its properties, and is no more or less susceptible to manipulation by various fire or combustion based Quirks. Her body's resistance to heat is not without its limits, and while she resilient to flames and even magma, Izanami is still vulnerable to intense sources of prolonged heat such as lasers, superheated gases, high voltage electrical currents, and plasma. As a reptilian in her dragon form she is also more susceptible to extreme cold, lacking body hair or cold weather insulation. Ice, snow, frost, and other sources of extreme cold are all increasingly debilitating. Similarly, the effectiveness of her fire breath is greatly diminished in driving rain, heavy blizzards, and rendered nearly useless underwater.
