| U pon closer inspection, Mugen realized that he had knocked down the pink haired individual. In response they began speaking in a rather irritated tone “"Watch where you're-" ... Mugen knew exactly what was coming next, because he had heard the statement quite a few times and he would usually reply with a disinterested shrug or a middle finger depending on his mood. But surprisingly the rest of the statement he expected never came. Instead something scarier happened, the pink haired person began calling for a nurse while they were on the ground. “great… I’ve been here for two seconds and I might already be in shit.” Mugen thought to himself while holding back a chuckle. UA already knew about his criminal record and the school was taking a big risk by letting him enroll as one of their students, hearing that Mugen had sent someone to the nurse’s office on his first day here would probably get his ass expelled before he got to sit through one class. It took Mugen a moment to understand the situation because a bit of French had been sprinkled into the pink haired person’s response, but when the person on the ground introduced himself as Colette and offered to help Mugen find the dorms, it seemed like he had finally spoken Mugen’s language. Mugen nonchalantly walked over to the pink haired individual and grabbed him by the hand, then he quickly pulled him back up to his feet. Once the pink haired person was on his feet, Mugen still didn’t let go of his hand and instead made brief eye contact with him. ”you good?” he asked in his usual calm and crude manner as his blue eyes looked into Colette’s own set of blues. That was as close to a sorry as anyone would ever get from Mugen. Once Mugen had finished “apologizing” a new voice caught his attention. He turned to face a girl with black hair, she seemed to know exactly where the dorms were, and she gave him precise directions to reach them. ”thanks.” he gave her a slight nod before adjusting his duffle bag, slipping his hands into his pockets and preparing to walk off in the direction she had just shown him. Then he remembered that Colette said he was in class 1A while introducing himself. There was a chance that these two were both going to be in the same class as Mugen, so he figured it wouldn’t hurt to get to know them now, because it would either happen here or in class anyway. Provided he didn’t find a way to get himself kicked out before then. ”my name is Mugen. Class 1A. “ |

| M ugen stood in front of the large campus gate and simply took in the sight of UA. He didn’t own much, so most of his possessions fit comfortably in the duffle bag slung over his shoulder. Mugen wore a pair of black combat boots, black jeans and a white T-shirt with a black jacket over it. White earbuds playing at maximum volume blocked out the sounds of his environment as he nonchalantly strolled through the gates. Mugen hadn’t read any of the pamphlets that UA gave to new students, so he had no idea where he was going. But, his stride had a certain calmness to it that made it seem like he had been a student here for years. He didn’t mind getting a little lost , since it would allow him to get familiar with the school. Plus, playing good music and taking a walk around campus seemed like a great way to find good spots to chill when he actually starts attending classes. In reality, the walk around campus was less about sightseeing and was more about trying to organize his thoughts and brooding a little. The idea of attending a hero school still felt strange to him, a year ago Mugen made fun of the losers that ran around the city in tights and struck corny poses after “saving the day” or whatever. But now he was in the process of learning to become one of them. He released a subtle sigh at the irony before pulling out his phone to change the song playing through his earbuds and returning it to his pocket again. Then he continued walking through campus headed towards the unknown. This walk allowed him time to remind himself why he was here. Mugen personally didn’t like how corny heroes were, and he also disliked their dogmatic idea of justice, but he wanted to be a good role model for his younger sister because that little weirdo mimicked everything Mugen did, even some of the bad shit that often got him in trouble. So he figured he’d become a hero, kick some villain ass and lead by setting a good example or whatever. His train of thought was derailed by his phone vibrating to indicate a text. He pulled it out of his pocket once again and began reading the text he had received. With his earbuds negating his hearing and his phone screen blocking his vision Mugen couldn’t detect the person in front of him until he had already bumped into them. Initially he didn’t even bother looking up from his phone ”didn’t see ya there” he spoke in a disinterested tone without looking up. He took a few more steps forward before he stopped and looked up at the person he had bumped into. The first thing his eyes took in was a long pink mane and a few other bright colors like a yellow skirt. Mugen pulled out one earbud before he started speaking. ”Hey , you know where the dorms are?” his manner of speaking was naturally crude and blunt because the people he often hung out with didn’t care much for social etiquette. Mugen grew up in a bad neighborhood and spent some of his youth in a gang, as a result he has developed several personality traits that one would associate with an antihero instead of a hero. He can be rude, sarcastic, and violent due to his rough upbringing. Mugen isn’t exactly mean but his time as a gangster has left him with a bit of a rough and gritty exterior. In most cases he never shies away from a challenge or a fight and may occasionally instigate fights, but he also never attacks anyone he views as weak. In fact, he is more likely to fight on behalf of anyone who can’t protect themselves.
Despite his rough exterior, Mugen also has a playful side. He often uses humor as a coping mechanism instead of showing emotion, so no matter how bad a situation may get Mugen will probably make a joke about the situation to lighten the mood for himself and others. He isn’t as book smart as most people in his class but he is extremely adaptable, crafty and street smart. He is able to observe and adapt to situations and opponents rather quickly and often creates unorthodox solutions to problems.

Mugen stands at a height of 5’10 ft tall with a muscular body build, shaped by years of mixed martial arts training. He grew up in a tough neighborhood and spent a lot of his youth getting mugged and getting into street fights. As a result, several scars litter his body. He has a strong jaw and symmetrical facial features, so some might say he looks good. Most of Mugen’s hair is black like his father’s, but he also inherited some of his mother’s silver hair which is mostly visible at the front of his head.
Mugen’s hero costume looks like military-style tactical gear because his costume is inspired by his father’s career as a police officer. Mugen wears black tactical gear made of interwoven Kevlar. Between the layers of Kevlar lies bulletproof custard (Shear-thickening liquid) in order to make the body armor light and flexible. The shear-thickening liquid hardens when a sudden force is applied to it, which makes the costume better at stopping bullets than regular bulletproof gear and it makes the body armor great at absorbing large amounts of physical force from attacks. The costume has also been made fire retardant in order to withstand his quirk. The chest plate of his body armor is decorated with a red bat. Mugen also wears a red mask in order to hide his identity in order to make sure his family isn’t affected by his choice to become a hero.(Pictures of his costume below)

Mugen was born in the tougher parts of Shibuya Japan, his neighborhood was overrun by a small crime syndicate called the Shibuya dragons. The Shibuya dragons recruited troubled youths with destructive quirks and used them to intimidate civilians and commit crime. Mugen’s father was a police officer and his mother was a teacher. Together his parents made a decent amount of money, but they didn’t make enough money to move to a better neighborhood. Although they didn’t have large amounts of money, Mugen’s mother always emphasized the importance of a good education, so his parents did their best to ensure that Mugen got one. Mugen was constantly surrounded by crime and violence, so he obviously got into a lot of street fights while growing up. He adapted quite quickly to his surroundings and developed a tough and gritty personality even when he was young in order to prevent being picked on. He even enrolled in mixed martial arts classes when he was 9 to improve his fighting abilities.
When Mugen turned 10 his quirk kicked in and his younger sister was born at around the same time. Mugen had a quirk with a high destructive potential and it didn’t take long for the Shibuya dragons to find out about Mugen’s quirk. The gang would hang around Mugen's school and attempt to recruit him for several months, until finally their promises of money and freedom got to him and he agreed to join their gang. The Shibuya dragons helped Mugen develop the destructive potential of his quirk everyday afterschool and they also slowly introduced him to the life of crime. Initially Mugen started off with small crimes like occasionally shop lifting when he hung out with the Shibuya dragons afterschool, but with time he graduated to more serious crimes like selling drugs and violence. His mixed martial arts classes mixed with his destructive quirk proved to make him a very brutal gang member despite being really young (age 12).
It looked like he was travelling the path of becoming a villain by the time he had turned 13, until his younger sister ( who was 3 at the time) was injured while members of an enemy gang attacked Mugen’s house because they were looking for him. Although Mugen seemed tough and gritty on the outside, seeing his family pay for his crimes really got to him. He promised himself that he would become strong enough to protect his family from criminals like the ones that had attacked his house looking for him. He left the Shibuya Dragons and began working toward becoming a hero, not because he admired heroes but because he wanted to be a good example for his younger sister and protect his family.
After leaving the Shibuya dragons gang, Mugen came clean about his criminal activities. Because he had confessed, the judge was lenient toward him and gave him community service to make up for his previous lifestyle.With hard work, Mugen managed to get a spot in UA. Although he has managed to enroll in a hero school his violent past still follows him, Many people still believe he doesn’t deserve to be a hero. Mugen doesn’t make it any easier for people to believe in him because he doesn’t exactly behave like a hero, but is slowly trying to improve.

QUIRK DESCRIPTION: Mugen’s body constantly produces raw explosive energy which he uses in two distinct ways.
Midas Touch Method:
Basically, Mugen imbues inanimate objects with his explosive energy via physical contact. Once he has touched an object it basically becomes a bomb that he can detonate at any point in time, even though the object will still look and feel normal to other people. The size of the explosion is determined by how much explosive energy he has imbued that object with. At his current level the explosions are powerful enough to break through bricks, deal first degree burns and melting. His explosions also have an explosive radius of around 30 feet.
Mugen can turn 2 inanimate objects into bombs per turn and can detonate them at any time as long as he is within range of that object, meaning as long as he is withing 150 feet of that object he can detonate it. an object will generally remain a bomb until he detonates it, because he cant undo the process of imbuing an object with his explosive energy. But if he is out of range of an object the explosive energy within it will slowly dissipate in about a day.
Explosive combat method: Alternatively, Mugen can decide to coat his hands and feet with explosive energy which allows him to deliver punches and kicks that explode once he makes physical contact with his opponent. Once again, the size of the explosions depends on how much explosive energy he puts behind each punch and kick. At his current level, the maximum limit of explosive power he can safely put behind each punch and kick is strong enough to break through bricks, deal first degree burns and melting. Mugen can also use the explosive energy that coats his feet to create controlled explosions that propel him in a desired direction for a short amount of time.
the explosive radius of the explosions caused by his punches and kicks only affects the area of contact, and is much more controlled for his own safety. at his current level Mugen can safely use his quirk for a maximum of 7 posts before he drains his body of its nutritional resources and becomes exhausted and hungry.
QUIRK DRAWBACKS:
- His skin may be resistant to the heat that comes from his explosions, but he isn’t entirely resistant to the shockwaves. The shockwaves from large explosions made by him can easily ragdoll him into buildings and fracture or break bones if he isn’t careful. That is why he only puts large amounts of explosive energy into inanimate objects and detonates them from a distance. He knows that using large amounts of explosive energy in his close-range explosive combat would hurt him too.
-His body uses its own nutritional resources to produce the explosive energy he uses for his quirk. As a result, using too much explosive energy leaves him tired and hungry. Although he doesn’t exactly run out of explosive energy, using too much of it can severely drain his body of its resources and weaken him or cause him to pass out. The power of his explosive energy can also be weakened if he is hungry, so its important for him to eat well.
